Roadmap match
Checks if customer feature requests align with a provided roadmap
One of 51 free, open-source prompts from Sonora — copy-paste-ready AI prompts for customer success and account management, organized by customer lifecycle stage. Copy this into any AI assistant, or run it on autopilot inside Sonora.
- Use web search to fetch the page at [roadmap URL] and retrieve its content. Do not skip this step.
- Retrieve [customer name]’s feature requests from the feature request tracker.
- Compare the two. A match means a customer request describes the same capability as an item that appears verbatim on the fetched roadmap page.
Return YES only if at least one customer request matches a verbatim roadmap item. Otherwise return NO.
In the reason, cite each matching pair as: “Customer request: → Roadmap item:
(<quarter/section from fetched page>)”. Do not invent roadmap items, customer names, dates, or quotes. If you cannot fetch the roadmap, return NO with reason “Roadmap page could not be retrieved”.

The catch
A prompt is only as good as the data you feed it.
Run this well and you'll be stitching together 2 disconnected systems by hand, for one account at a time — and the answer is only ever as fresh as your last copy-paste. Sonora already has the context, live:
- Feature request tracker — connected and continuously synced
- Web search — connected and continuously synced
Inside Sonora this prompt runs grounded in your real customer data, on a schedule, across every account at once — and flags what needs you, before you have to ask.
